Answering the Questions:

What's your story or background regarding this work?

How did you develop an interest in serving in this area?

Since 2019, I have had the unique privilege of spearheading the Colorado 8-man all-state game. This endeavor, spanning three memorable events from 2021 to 2023, was not just an athletic spectacle but a mission - a vision rooted in my own personal experience as a head coach for a small high school nestled in Colorado's majestic mountains. Serving a community of just 100 students, I was afforded an intimate look into the challenges and opportunities that punctuate small-town football.

The spirit of these communities, the sheer potential of these young men, and the passion that envelopes the football field, made me realize the disparities in resources and opportunities, particularly in areas of leadership and coaching education. The seeds of the Elite All-State Foundation were sown in these very football fields, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of the sport and the boundless potential of the young athletes. Our initial efforts, ranging from offering scholarships to ensuring player safety with high-tech helmets, were just the beginning.

While our impact in Colorado has been profound, the call to amplify this vision resounds loudly. The essence of football, its ethos of leadership, teamwork, and resilience, is universal. There are countless communities, coaches, and young athletes across the nation who stand to benefit from the work we've begun. As someone deeply entrenched in the football community, my experiences have revealed the pressing need for comprehensive coaching education, especially in the sphere of leadership.

The leap from organizing state-centric events to launching The Elite All-State Foundation is inspired by a holistic vision – to not just elevate the sport, but to harness its potential as a tool for community building, leadership cultivation, and individual growth, especially in the heartlands of small-town America.

At the core, my drive to establish this nonprofit is not just about football; it's about nurturing the next generation of leaders, using football as a medium. I've lived the journey, seen the challenges, celebrated the successes, and now, I am committed to broadening this horizon, ensuring that every small-town football program and community feels the positive ripple effect of our initiative.

Describe in which states or geographies you plan to raise money, and planned methods for fundraising.

We are committed to casting our net wide, targeting states that champion the spirit of high school football. The blueprint of our fundraising strategy is rooted in our success in Colorado and our broader vision for The Elite All-State Foundation. We intend to tap into states that offer high school football, recognizing that each state carries its own unique football culture and traditions, which in turn presents distinctive opportunities for community engagement and fundraising.

Central to our fundraising strategy are sporting events, particularly states' all-state games. These games have proven to be effective platforms not just for showcasing athletic prowess but also for rallying communities around the cause of small-town football and leadership development. We view these games as more than just athletic events; they're community galas, uniting students, parents, coaches, alumni, and local businesses in a shared celebration of the sport and its potential for positive societal impact.

Additionally, we are putting emphasis on hosting coaching clinics. These clinics not only serve to enhance coaching education and leadership training but also as a means to generate funds and foster awareness about our mission. Their dual objective – to elevate coaching standards while also acting as a catalyst for fundraising – makes them a vital cog in our financial strategy.

Furthermore, to maximize our reach and facilitate ease of donation, our website will host a dedicated portal for individuals and entities wishing to contribute to our mission. This digital approach ensures we tap into a wider audience, catering to passionate supporters from various geographies who share our vision of bolstering small-town football initiatives and leadership training.

In essence, while our geographical focus is on states with high school football, our methods are diverse, dynamic, and designed to resonate with the grassroots football communities in these areas. By intertwining sporting passion with the cause of leadership and community building, we believe our fundraising initiatives will strike a chord, enabling us to harness the financial resources required to truly make a difference.

Answering the Following Question:

Please provide a more robust description of your vision for this organization. Perhaps, fast-forward 5 years - when you've succeeded, how will the world look different? How will lives or conditions be changed, specifically?

In five years, we envision The Elite All-State Foundation standing as a paragon of transformative change in the high school football landscape, both in terms of athletic performance and leadership cultivation.

Our immediate focus will revitalize the heartland of American high school football: Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas. These states embody the spirit of small-town football, where the game is not just a pastime but a cornerstone of community culture. We aim to fortify their football foundations by offering equipment grants, scholarships, and comprehensive coaching education. We anticipate that the seeds sown in these states will serve as a blueprint, facilitating our expansion into neighboring regions. New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and the Dakotas will soon feel the positive ripples of our initiative, as we build bridges, foster talent, and galvanize communities around the ethos of football and leadership.

However, our aspirations don't stop at the regional level. As our roots deepen and our impact widens, states that are giants in the world of high school football – California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida – are on our horizon. We recognize that the challenges and opportunities in these states will be unique, but our mission remains consistent: to harness the power of football as a medium for community building, leadership development, and individual growth.

Fast-forward five years, and here's the changed landscape we envisage:

Community Impact: Small towns, especially in our focus regions, will witness a revitalization of their football programs. With upgraded equipment and increased participation, Friday night games become even more of a communal event, drawing families and alumni, fostering unity, and enhancing local pride.

Athlete Development: Young athletes, irrespective of their economic background, will have greater access to scholarships and advanced training, leveling the playing field and allowing talent and determination to be the defining factors in their success.

Coaching Evolution: High school coaches, particularly in small towns, will be equipped with the latest techniques and leadership skills. This won't just translate to better performance on the field, but a new generation of young men shaped into community leaders, reflecting the ethos of discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Expanded Horizons: Our success stories from states like Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas will inspire communities in the larger football states. The blend of athletic excellence and character development that The Elite All-State Foundation promotes will be a sought-after model, setting a new gold standard in high school football.

In essence, our five-year vision is one where the footprint of The Elite All-State Foundation is felt nationwide. Where every cleat mark on the field, every cheer from the stands, and every huddle strategy echoes our mission: shaping leaders, changing lives, and crafting legacies.
